ABOUT CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY, MONTEREY BAY
Founded in 1994, California State University-Monterey Bay (CSUMB) is the second youngest of the 23-member California State University system and is located on the site of decommissioned army base Fort Ord in Monterey County, California.

Over the years the university has continued to grow, developing study programs and gradually offering more opportunities for students. Today more than 7,000 students are enrolled in one of the 25 undergraduate and seven graduate majors available at CSUMB.
