The Globe and Mail and Huffington Post agree that Bishop’s is one of the most prestigious universities in Canada. And according to the National Survey for Student Engagement (NSSE), Bishop’s has some of the most satisfied students in North America.

So what makes Bishop’s such a great place to study? It starts with our small class sizes, which allow professors to get to know each student personally. We also have a diverse campus community and an active student life program that includes over 100 clubs, social events and athletic teams.

Bishop’s University is located just outside of Sherbrooke, Quebec—one of Canada’s most beautiful cities—and we’re just minutes from downtown Montreal and its attractions like Mount Royal Park, Old Montreal and Notre Dame Basilica.

Bishop’s University offers over 40 undergraduate programs that are divided into four areas: Arts & Humanities; Business; Education; and Science & Technology. Students can choose from options like English Literature or History & Philosophy of Science—or they can create their own major through the University’s Specialized Honors Program (SHP). This program allows students to design their own courses based on specific research questions or problems within their area(s) of study.
