Fees are adjusted and charged each term based on flat fee price and credit count in each term. The assessment system will calculate per term fees based on the flat fee rate as well as per term credit weight. Outstanding balances will accrue interest and student account access may be restricted.

Valid interest charges will not be reversed for payments received after the due date. Please allow sufficient time for payments to be received based on the method of payment.

International Cohort Program Tuition (ISP)

International Cohort program fees are charged on a per term basis, in Canadian funds.  Note that all applicable ancillary fees will apply for each registered term in addition to the program fee.

  • Professional Masters Preparation Certificate in Business(PMPC) $19,688 + UG ancillary fees apply and Province of Ontario International Recovery Fee ($3,937.60 per credit – 5.0 credits)
  • Masters Preparation Certificate in Education(MPCE) $16,959 + UG ancillary fees and Province of Ontario International Recovery Fee ($3,391.80 per credit – 5.0 credits)

Graduate student tuition and fees may be assessed through your financial account and will include but may not necessarily be limited to the following basic categories.

International Cohort Program Tuition (ISP)

Graduate International Cohort program fees are charged on a program basis, in Canadian funds. Note that all applicable ancillary fees will apply for each registered term in addition to the program fee.

  • Int’l Master of Education $31,337 + GR ancillary fees and Province of Ontario International Recovery Fee ($3,138.68 per half credit, includes $4.98 per half credit Athletics fee – 10 half credits) Students are also required to complete a non credit course, EDUC 5N99.  No extra fee is charged for EDUC 5N99.
  • Master of Professional Accounting (ISP) $44,100  + GR ancillary fees and Province of Ontario International Recovery Fee ($2,940 per half credit -15 half credits)
  • Int’l Master of Business Admin $65,100 – $78,120 + GR ancillary fees and Province of Ontario International Recovery Fee ($3,255 per half credit – 20 half credits.  CPA accredited accounting specialization required to take an additional 4 half credits)
  • Int’l Master of Science in Materials Science (Physics) $34,034 + GR ancillary fees and Province of Ontario International Recovery Fee ($3,403.40 per half credit -10 half credits)

Exceptions

Students enrolled in the Concurrent Education program and the Nursing program are always assessed per credit and are excluded from flat fee charges.

Transfer Students

Transfer students are important contributors to the Brock University community, and we value the experience and maturity transfer students bring to the classroom environment.

A transfer student is an individual who has studied at another accredited university or college prior to studying at Brock University. A transfer applicant may apply part way through studies at their current post-secondary institution, or they may have already graduated.

We offer programs to assist you in making a smooth transition to Brock, and to ensure that you have positive experiences socially, personally, and academically.

General Transfer Credit Requirements

All students who have completed post-secondary education at an approved public post-secondary institution are eligible for transfer credit on a case by case basis. You must report all previous academic activity on your application and will be required to provide transcripts for all academic studies. We may also request course outlines from past academic programs for the purpose of determining course-to-course equivalencies and the awarding of transfer credit.

The awarding of transfer credit is based primarily upon i) The compatibility of the previous program/course to the Brock program; ii) Course learning outcomes; and iii) grades achieved in courses.
