Correlation is a foundational course for the Correlation to an MBA Degree program. It is designed to give you the latest insights and knowledge about how the economy works. The course focuses on macroeconomics, the study of how large groups of people, companies and countries function economically. In this course, you’ll learn about how supply, demand and markets work together in different environments, such as developed or developing countries. You will also examine theories about market structures, industrial organization and growth policies that can help economies improve their performance.

**The next course in the Correlation to an MBA Degree program is Microeconomic Theory. This course is critical so that you can build on your foundational knowledge of economics and understand microeconomic theory—the study of economic agents at the individual level. Moreover, this course will help you further develop your understanding of the economic principles that are at the core of business decision-making processes by studying a broad set of topics within microeconomic theory such as consumer behavior and demand analysis, production costs and supply analysis and competitive behavior.

If you submit a complete and timely application—which includes your CORe certificate, required Harvard courses, grades, and cumulative GPA—you will be admitted, after which you’ll have 11 more courses to take to earn the degree.
