Applying for Admission into Creighton University – The Basics

Creighton University online programs require a special admissions process. To begin, students must submit “Initial Verification Documents.” Those include:

  • An online application
  • A resume
  • An unofficial transcript

Creighton University Online students must also speak to a program manager. Once they’ve done that and submitted their initial verification documents, they can continue the admissions process. To continue, and depending on their program, they might have to submit:

  • A $50 application fee
  • Official transcripts
  • A goal statement
  • Writing samples and exercises
  • A Graduate Entrance Exam Score  

Advanced Admission Requirements

At this point, admissions requirements begin to vary by program type and level at Creighton University. For any program type and level, you may need to have taken classes in certain subjects.   • Official high school transcripts including the scale on which you were graded
  • ACT and SAT exam scores
  • An evaluation from a high school guidance counselor
  • An essay or personal statement
  • Optional: a resume or letters of recommendation

Graduate Admissions

Creighton University has more than 40 graduate programs, many of which are offered online. Each one has its own set of admissions requirements. However, there are some general requirements for graduate programs too.

Graduate students must submit the following:

  • Evidence that they’ve earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school
  • College transcripts
  • For some programs, GRE or GMAT scores. These scores must be submitted directly from your test-taking center to Creighton University. Check with your program of choice to see if you need to take one of these exams.
  • If you are an international student from a country where English is not the primary language, TOEFL scores. Your TOEFL score must be above a certain one.
