The University of California, San Diego School of Medicine is a public medical school located in La Jolla, California. UCSD is a highly selective medical school, but with the right preparation, you can make yourself as competitive as possible. Here’s what you need to know about UCSD medical school prerequisites.
The minimum GPA for UCSD applicants is 3.7 (for the 2017-2018 application cycle). However, the average GPA for accepted students is 3.9, so if your GPA is below this range, it could negatively impact your chances of admission.
In addition to meeting the minimum GPA requirement, you’ll also need to meet certain coursework requirements before applying.
