In UTME, note that English Language is mandatory for all courses. The other three subjects required to study International Relations under theย Faculty of Administrationย in the institutions listed above are:

Mathematics and any two of the following: Economics, History, Government, Geography, Literature in English and French.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) OAU requires English Language, Mathematics, Government and any other Social Science subject.

Oโ€™Level Requirements for UTME Candidates

To apply for International Relationsas a UTME candidate, you require: Five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Government and Mathematics and any other two relevant subjects.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) OAU requires five โ€˜Oโ€™ Level credits which must include English Language, Mathematics, Government plus any two other subjects from History, Geography and Yoruba.

(ii) WELLSPRING accepts a pass in Mathematics provided the candidate has a total of five credits including English language, Government/History, and Economics.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates

To apply for International Relations as a Direct Entry candidate, you require: Two โ€˜Aโ€™ level passes in any of the following subjects: Government, Economics, History and French.

Special Requirements (Waiver) Remarks

(i) WELLSPRING accepts two Aโ€™ level passes (including NABTEB).
