“I do not feel the classes have prepared me for my boards. I only had issues with one professor. The Pediatric Professor does not do well with responding to emails/questions. She graded an assignment before I turned it in. I did let her know but she did not respond to my emails and did not change the grade. The financial department did not notify me in a timely manner about the cost that I would be paying. The last 3 classes I ran out of financial aide and had to pay out of pocket. That is hard to collect it last minute.”Matthew brady

“This is a fantastic institution. I am in the position to refer academic opportunities to hundreds of young minds per year. I do this by coupling it with scholarship opportunities that I offer through my business. I am so impressed with PG that I have recommended PG to several of my employees and have had 2 or 3 apply already. I love the seamless integration that promotes students working a full time job who have full time obligations. I am going to continue to promote PG to my employees because it is a solid and well structured education that allows for normal, everyday, people to advance their personal development. I am super impressed with the way that PG has integrated, innovated and created a new type of online collegiate academia. PG has mastered the art of instilling higher education in a short amount of time with a high degree of knowledge being transmitted. I have spent a long amount of time, since 2005, in some type of collegiate institution (with a small sabbatical in the Marine Corps) and I have always thought that the requirements in other institution were unrealistic. PG has realistic expectations and through the different requirements have successfully assimilated a high degree of knowledge inception. GREAT JOB!. I have nothing but great things to say about PG. Even though I had 1 professor that I disagreed with her collegiate candor, in her seminars, I received an A. I was able to push aside the racial and political view points and view the information of the text as an unbiased party. PG has supported me more than any other institutions. Nancy Gamel, has been instrumental in the success of my graduation. Ever since day one, Nancy has been my guardian angel. I had immediate trust with her because she represented herself so well and I never had a doubt about her degree of knowledge or her interpersonal commutation. I was her biggest concern, always. This is what I felt at PG. BRAVO!!!!! She needs a raise and a promotion!!!! PG, my hats off to you. Great job! Keep it up! I am going to keep sending people your way. Keep it up! I look forwards to visiting the Purdue campus for the first time to walk, on December 4th. Thank you so much!”Tom S.

“Everything was smooth up until my last couple terms. I felt like I could reach out for guidance and/or help and everyone was there to help. Once I was about to graduate I got two professors that didn’t teach you anything and when you asked a question they said “I don’t know, read the book”. My last term I had an instructor that was only there for week one and returned on week 6. While she was out there was no contact info for the new instructor. I tried reaching out for help multiple times and ways with no help. Student advisory even made it seem like I was the problem. I am a straight A student so it’s not like I wasn’t trying.”bbnightfire

“Purdue University Global is living by the Purdue System values. For working adults it does not get better than Purdue Global, I have attended other online universities and they do not compete. PG fills a need in higher education for adults that cannot take four years to attend traditional institutions. I would highly recommend PG to family and friends.”Ritu

“From the very beginning it seemed like a good idea to pursue this school but the way you are rushed through the paperwork without the proper explanation of how things work with paying for school and when it came time to pay back and ways to get assistance I had a very poor experience. The online courses are informative but half the time emails are not responded to and there is poor communication throughout the whole facility. I have talked to my advisor maybe twice since I have started here a year ago. I really wish I would of read reviews and did more research before going in debt with this program at this University.”E

“This school was a nightmare. Teachers would never respond to emails, advisors would consistently be different and have no clue what you are talking about. And worst comes to worst, they will accuse you of cheating, despite writing the same way in every other class, and give zero information as to what you allegedly did wrong. This program was a complete waste of money, and I dropped out of it at a good time. I am trying to transfer schools now, however they won’t provide the syllabi’s from the classes that I have taken to the university that I am trying to transfer to. Do not attend this school. It may be cost-beneficial, but at the end of the day, they will screw you over.”Jeremy

“The professors are genuinely there to help teach and educate their students. With that said, the issues are with the degree plan. The class requirements change resulting in needing more credits to earn your degree. In my case, I had 300 level courses in accounting completed. I took a leave due to COVID, then when returning to wrap up my last three classes, my 11 credits for accounting were removed and replaced with needing 10 more credits in basic 100 level accounting. This resulted in needing five more classes instead of the three left on my transcript. This makes no sense at all and seems to be a ploy to scam more money out of students. I was assigned all my classes and never deviated from the credit recommendations given to me.”Pamela Trammel

“First of all, I feel overall that the program focuses too much on “busy work” and “hoops” to jump through and too little on substance. Not once did I feel I learned something from journal assignments or discussion boards. They are pointless wastes of time. Second, iHuman is an atrocity that should be done away with immediately. I know other schools also use it and I have spoken with students from other programs and the feels were unanimous. It does nothing to prepare you for real world Scenarios and is provides nothing but anger and frustration. Third, I had to find all of my own clinical sites. The school was avail no help at all on this front. Once you find one, and do all the paperwork for them, they did move heaven and eart to approve the sites as fast as possible and my clinical coordinator was very responsive. Last, but not at all least, someone in their infinite wisdom thought it would be a good idea to stop telling students which test questions they got wrong. This effectively eliminated our ability to know where we’re were weak and what needed to be relearned or fixed. I don’t care if you don’t show us the right answer. Show me the question I missed, and the answer I gave, so I can go back and work on my knowledge deficit. I discussed this with students from other schools and preceptors and their reactions were anywhere from angry to confused to mortified that this was how a school was educating students. I couldn’t have agreed more.”Terri S

“Being a returning student 20 years later, I was initially intimidated about online learning. Now that I’ve achieved my Bachelor’s degree at Purdue Global University, I could not think of stepping back into a classroom. I felt the attention to detail, studies, and discussions furthered by experience more than any brick and mortar campus. I would recommend it to any returning student. The courses were reasonable in price and structure. A+ in my book.”Melinda Blanco

“I have loved my two years at Purdue University Global working towards my Associates of Science in Legal Studies. I will be continuing with my education by going for my Bachelors starting October 2021. I do love the Discussion Boards and Professor feedback. The one main issue I would have is the steady increase of “social justice” discussions (from some Professors) and lack of statistical and analytical data to support such discussions or opinions. I do not consider myself an expert or incredibly knowledgeable in this area but when I cite to the FBI (government run entity that tracks area) and a Professor cites to CNN which is citing to a study that is unproven and only supports opinion. This has happened on multiple occasions and I have taken the high road by stating we can “agree to disagree” or “thanking them for their opinion.” I would like more debates like this but factually based rather than emotionally charged and supported only by opinion. Other than this issues all Professors are professional and easily contacted if you are struggling or need more time on assignments. All Professors are knowledgeable and full of information about the legal industry. The last issue which is big is that in a legal based courses we should be using bluebook citing more and eliminating APA citing as Bluebook is the legal standard. “I called Purdue University Global and spoke to Joe Rensaw. I was looking to attend college since COVID 19 caused us to remain at home. Joe was encouraging, helpful, and got me enrolled. He helped me whenever I had a concern. I am grateful for the opportunity to finish my education. I chose Business Administration. I have had wonderful instructors. Thank you for being there for students like me. I will always remember my time at Purdue Global. I attended Purdue University West Lafayette as an undergraduate in the 70’s. I am happy to graduate from the school I love. I sent my daughter to Purdue in 2005. My husband was a graduate of Purdue.”
