Founded in 1959 on the original site of the first Calexico High School, SDSU Imperial Valley offers academic programming in several key disciplines, including 10 bachelor’s degrees, two master’s degrees, and a teaching credential program. Located just minutes from the Mexican border, SDSU Imperial Valley serves a diverse student population through a responsive curriculum and community engagement efforts concentrated throughout the cross-border region.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all in-person components of this program have either been paused, rescheduled, or moved into a virtual format until further notice.

Please email Jennifer Van Der Linden at jen.vanderlinden@imperial.edu to learn how these changes affect your program.

SDSU will continue to monitor the situation and follow the guidance of our local and federal health agencies.
