Description

The 3-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences. Our Nursing program in Polish has always been incredibly popular and a decision was made to make it available to international students as well.Our 3-year BSc in Nursing program is a gateway for professionals who are prepared to provide direct health care services to children and adults in hospital wards, general and specialist clinics, emergency medicine departments, institutional care facilities, social care centers, health resorts, as well as in community or industrial health care. Courses take place in specially-equipped labs where our students practice nursing procedures in simulated conditions. The skills are then transferred to real-life situations during work placements in various healthcare institutions.The programme includes such courses as: anatomy, biophysics, primary health care, pharmacology, physiology, radiology, physical examination, surgery, emergency medicine, internal medicine, anaesthesiology, psychiatry, intensive care, gynaecology, obstetrics, wound management, rehabilitation, nephrology, paediatrics, geriatrics, gastroenterology, allergology, and many others.

Admission requirements: 

A candidate needs to speak English well enough to participate in classes conducted in English (long lasting lessons at school or completion of courses at an appropriate level).The list of documents certyfing candidate’s proper knowledge of English: FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC 2, BEC (3), CEIBT – certificates issued by Univeristy Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (at least “pass”); IELTS (at least 6.5 points); TOEFL 500 in tests, at least 3.5 points in writing test (TWE) and 200 points in speaking exam (TSE) issued by Education Testing Service.
