This does not include additional costs such as books, lab/college/program fees, parking or insurance premiums. Room and meal plan rates are based on average costs for the 2021-22 academic year. Students who live outside of a 25-mile radius of campus are required to live on campus their first two years.

CAN I LOWER THE COST?
Absolutely. 80% of new UToledo students receive scholarships and other state and federal aid.
Your hard work in high school can pay off with merit scholarships.
Most first-time freshmen are automatically considered for merit scholarships based on their GPAs when they apply to UToledo. No other application necessary! If you qualify, you get the scholarship.
And many out-of-state students are able to bring down their tuition costs to about the same amount as in-state students with an $8,000 Rocket Nation scholarship. The Rocket Nation scholarship is also based on GPA and automatically awarded when you apply and if you qualify.
