Confederation College delivers 65 programs in over 11 program areas, in three academic schools. The college offers courses in applied arts and technology. Every year Confederation college provides education and training to over 6500 students, out of which 1450 are international students coming from 25 different countries to Study in Canada. The Institute offers education in small class sizes and offers excellent facilities.

Application Portal: Students have to apply online. There are two different application portals for domestic Ontario students and International Students for all the courses provided by the Confedaration College.

To apply, please visit the Confederation College International application portal โฆ and follow the step-by-step application process. The application is accompanied by a $95.00 CAD non-refundable application fee, payable through the application portal via credit card. After paying your application fee, please ensure to press the โSubmitโ button to ensure that your application is successfully submitted.
Please note that this portal is separate from the domestic Ontario Colleges website and international students must use the above link to apply. Do not utilize a search engine to find the Ontario Colleges website, and this will lead you to the domestic application portal.
Please have the following documentation ready when you apply. You can return at any time to complete your application if you are waiting for any further paperwork.

Step 2: Application Processing
Applications will be assesseโd once the application has been submitted and all required documents are received. Please be aware that submission of an application does NOT guarantee that you will receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
Applications are considered based on a combination of time of application and academics, and will close once the program is full.
The processing time for applications is within five business days of receiving it. During peak times (beginning and end of term), applicants may experience a delay in processing times.
Step 3: Understanding Your Status
After submitting your application, you may receive one of the following responses:
Closed: We are unable to extend you an Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for your program choice, as the program is now full.
Needs More Information: Your application is incomplete and additional documentation is required to assess your eligibility. This status will be accompanied by an indication of what documentation is required.
Waitlist: We are still accepting applications for your program choice, however, we have exceeded the number of available program seats. There is a change that we may extend more LOAโs, but this generally does not happen until existing LOAโs expire and we can assess the number of payments and/or visa approvals received for the program.
There are several types of LOAโs:
Offer: An offer is an LOA with no conditions attached.
Conditional Offer: A conditional offer indicates certain requirements are outstanding. Your LOA will outline the conditions that must be met to earn a seat in your confirmed program choice.
Step 4: Tuition Fee Payment
To confirm your acceptance into Confederation College, you must pay your first semester tuition fees by the deadline listed on your Letter of Acceptance (LOA). Once this tuition deadline has passed, your offer is no longer valid.

All applications received by the Ontario College Application Service by 11:59 p.m. on February 1st for the Fall semester programs and by 11:59 p.m. on March 1st for the Winter semester programs, will be given first admission consideration. Program Status Definitions
- Open – means that we are still accepting applications for the program.
- Waitlist – means that we have sent Offers of Admission to fill the available program seats; however, it is feasible that we would contact applicants on a waiting list by the start of classes to fill seats that open up. Please be advised that confirming a seat in one program will not remove an applicant from a waitlist in another program. It is important that applicants keep their contact information up to date over the summer so we can contact them quickly if a seat becomes available.
- Closed – means that we are no longer able to accept applications to the program. It is not feasible that an applicant would be contacted from a program waitlist by the start of classes.
- Suspended – means that the College has suspended the program and it will not be offered in that semester.
