The University of Greenwich, formerly known as Woolwich Polytechnic (1890-19700 and Thames Polytechnic (1970-1992), is a London-based public university. The Greenwich campus is home to Business School and the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Greenwich Maritime Institute, a specialist institute in maritime management, policy and history teaching and research.
The Avery Hill campus houses the faculty of education and health. It also offers several courses at Medway campus.
