Since you’re an international student, you’ll want to start by considering what scholarships you can apply for. A quick search on Google will show you a lot of options, but I’ve got one specific scholarship in mind that I think might be right up your alley.

The Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship Program is an award that gets handed out to students every year who have immigrated to Canada or been born abroad but have since become permanent residents or citizens. If this sounds like you, then this could be a great avenue for getting some funding for your education. It’s important to note that the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship Program will only pay for tuition and other expenses related specifically to study at the University of Western Ontario—it won’t pay for housing or anything else like that—but I think it’s still definitely worth looking into if you’re interested in studying here.
