Financial Aid
Annually, international students (both UG and PG) are awarded scholarships worth 15 million NZD and above. Some of the popular international scholarships are:

- International Master’s Scholarship- Total scholarships: 8; Value: 15,000 NZD p.a. + a tuition fee waiver for 1 year.
- University of Otago Doctoral Scholarship- Total scholarships: Up to 200; Value: 27,000 NZD p.a. + a domestic tuition fees waiver for 36 months.
