Students can expect to complete courses in pre-calculus, algebra and physics, regardless of the engineering technology program they enroll in.
2. Augusta Technical College
Augusta Technical College, located in Augusta, has three associate’s degree programs in engineering technology. The electrical and computer engineering technology program offers specializations in computer, electrical or instrumentation and control engineering technology. The school’s nuclear engineering technology program is designed to meet the standards set by the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, and students have an opportunity to gain internship experience at Plant Vogtle. The mechanical engineering technology program features an emphasis in manufacturing and design.
3. Chattahoochee Technical College

5. Georgia Piedmont Technical College
Students may pursue an associate’s degree in electrical and computer engineering technology at Georgia Piedmont Technical College in Clarkston. This degree program requires students to complete 65 credits and includes courses like circuit analysis, networking systems, digital systems, electronic circuits and computer programming. Students may select a specialization in computer engineering technology or electronics engineering technology.
6. Savannah State University
Savannah State University has bachelor’s degree programs in civil engineering technology and electronics engineering technology. The civil engineering technology program requires students to complete 132 credit hours, which includes courses in highway and transportation engineering, surveying, civil engineering materials, fluid mechanics and construction estimating. 7. Savannah Technical College
