Bachelor Of Fine Arts Subjects

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BA) program helps students develop and refine their skills in craftsmanship through aesthetic expression to expose their talents to a broader scope, to inspire them to a greater height of expression, artistic excellence and exemplary skills, and to work towards national and international recognition in the promotion and development of Fine Arts. The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BA) program is offered online via distance learning. After evaluating both academic record and life experience, AIU staff working in conjunction with Faculty and Academic Advisors will assist students in setting up a custom-made program, designed on an individual basis. This flexibility to meet student needs is seldom found in other distance learning programs. Our online program does not require all students to take the same subjects/courses, use the same books, or learning materials. Instead, the online Bachelor of Fine Arts (BA) curriculum is designed individually by the student and academic advisor.

Fine arts degrees are also more likely to conclude with assessment via a project or portfolio of work which may be exhibited to the public, although some courses have the traditional dissertation or supervised research project which is more commonly encountered on history of art degrees.

The length of your art degree will also vary depending on the country you choose to study in. For example, most undergraduate courses in the UK last three years, while in the US four years is the norm.
