For example, while the annual mean wage in Florida was $46,010 in 2018, physical therapy assistants earned an average salary of $61,650 that year. Florida requires that these healthcare professionals earn at least an associate degree to qualify for licensure. Similarly, information security analysts earned almost twice the average salary of all occupations in the state. When hiring for these positions, most companies prefer candidates with a bachelor’s degree.

This section explores some of the factors we include in our ranking and how much they vary depending on the school you select. To make it into this list a school must excel in the following areas.

Overall Quality is a Must

The overall quality of a school is important to ensure a quality education, not just how well they do in a particular major. Other Factors We Consider

In addition to the above, you should consider some of the following factors:

  • Major Focus – How much a school focuses on Marketing students vs. other majors.
  • Major Popularity – How many other marketing students choose this school.
  • Accreditation – Whether a school is regionally accredited and/or a recognized marketing related accrediting body.
