Our selected admissions process
Our admissions process enables us to select students based on academic merit and experience.
A staged admissions process is in place for some of the Business School’s full-time 12-month MSc programmes. This means that when you apply for one of our programmes below for September 2021 entry, your application will be considered with all others that have been submitted before that deadline. Therefore you might not hear from us with details of your offer until a few weeks after the deadline has been reached. This enables us to ensure that all applications are considered fairly and equally.
Each year we see a high volume of high quality applications and as places for these programmes are competitive, applicants who demonstrate being able to exceed the minimum entry requirements and have studied at high ranking institutions will be given preference.

Process
Submit your application via the ‘apply now’ button on the relevant coursefinder page. You will be required to pay a £50 non-refundable application fee at this stage.
Please ensure that you submit all of your supporting documents. If you do not supply all of the required documentation at the point of submitting your application this may result in your application being delayed or unsuccessful.
Please note that if you apply for MSc Financial Technology you may be asked to attend an interview as part of your application. Further information about how to apply can be found on our ‘How to apply’ page.
Deadlines
We have a number of deadlines available but we would recommend that as places are subject to availability, you apply early to avoid disappointment. We cannot guarantee that if you apply at one of the later stages that places will be available on your programme of choice. If programmes are still open, applications received after 1 July 2021 will only be for applicants who do not require a visa to study in the UK.

Applications to the MSc Investments programme will be closed to China-domiciled applicants after 10 December 2020. Applications to the MSc Financial Management programme will be closed to China-domiciled applicants after 15 December 2020. We are not able to consider applications for 2021 made after these dates.
Deposit
If you are offered a place, you must accept your offer and pay a deposit of £2,000 by the deadline stated in your offer. Failure to do so may result in your offering being withdrawn.
