Bradford Online Mba Review

For over 15 years, weโ€™ve been working in partnership with the University of Bradford. The Bradford MBA โ€“ studied online โ€“ is one of the most prestigious distance learning MBAs in the world, reaching prime positions in various rankings.

Are you currently researching MBAs in search of one you feel will provide you with the career progression youโ€™re looking for? If you are, here are four reasons why the Bradford Distance Learning MBA should make an appearance on your list of considerations.

Three logos for Equis Accredited, Association of MBAs accredited, and AACSB accredited

  1. Triple accreditation
As of this year, less than 100 business schools in the world hold the prestigious triple accreditation awarded by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS โ€“ the University of Bradfordโ€™s School of Management is one of these.

The Bradford MBA also achieved third place nationally and 10th place worldwide in the Financial Times Distance Learning MBA 2019 ranking, as well as 10th place in the CEO Magazine 2019 Global MBA rankings.

  1. Return on investment
The MBA can be an expensive qualification to get under your belt. Despite its prestige, the Bradford Distance Learning MBA helps you save money on the qualification without having to compromise on quality.

The Financial Times ranking placed the Bradford MBA first in the world for value for money.

  1. Flexibility
Academic timetables can be limiting, offering minimal chances to start your studies throughout the year โ€“ the Bradford Distance Learning MBA is different.

With intakes falling in January, April, July and October every year , you can choose to start your MBA at a time that suits you.

  1. Likelihood of salary increase
This year, the Bradford Distance Learning MBA was ranked second in the UK for salary increase in the Financial Times ranking; those who graduated in 2015 have since seen their annual income increase by an average of 34 per cent.

If youโ€™re serious about studying an MBA, career progression and salary increase are likely your foremost concerns; with this distance MBA also ranking fourth in the world for career progress, itโ€™s certainly one of the strongest contenders among countless noteworthy qualifications.

University of Bradford Distance Learning MBA – looks like a great value, any thoughts?
So, I know this sub seems to hate online MBA’s, but they really make sense for me, in my situation.

I found the Distance Learning MBA at the University of Bradford (England), which seems to be highly rated (Financial Times top 8 for Online MBAs), and it is accredited by three major accreditors (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS). They are a real bricks and mortar university which also has an in-person full-time MBA, etc.

Everything seems legit to me, despite lots of research trying to poke holes in it.

A big factor for me, who is self-funded: it’s only $24,500 USD, compared to normal (not Harvard etc) online U.S. MBA’s which seem to hover in the $50-100K range. The ROI for me seems to be there, and it has the added allure of a British education which sounds interesting.

Everything I read online seems to be positive about this place, but I’m hoping someone has first or secondhand experience they can share? (Or other comments?). I know it may be hard to get past the “online” thing, but it’s what I need.

mid career

good, busy job with a good salary

couple of young kids and a wife who still love me

don’t need to Network in my city

don’t have the time or family situation to attend a school in person, and need a flexible schedule to suit my needs

I want an MBA for a few reasons:

to learn business theory and skills

to better position myself to meet the minimum qualifications for a senior level executive

to give me additional credentials to switch employers in the future if I want to move around

Anyone? I’m aware it’s not Harvard and that an important part is social networking, which will be lacking.
