Our Mission
Through our College of Graduate Studies — in coordination with Bridgewater’s College of Education and Health Sciences, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Louis M. Ricciardi College of Business and Bartlett College of Science and Mathematics — we offer a variety of graduate degree and certificate programs. These programs enable you to build on the skills learned in your undergraduate major, making you more attractive to prospective employers.
With these relevant, high-quality graduate programs taught by a dedicated faculty comprising strong teachers, mentors and researchers, you’ll find that Bridgewater is highly supportive and collaborative. Many courses are project- based and experiential, so you can learn to collaborate while also developing leadership skills.

Take a Course (Non-Degree)
Bridgewater State University welcomes students who hold a bachelor’s degree to take graduate courses as a non-degree student!
- Students who have already created an account in our online application portal can use the link below to complete a non-degree application. Simply log into the account with your email and password. Please note this is not your Bridgewater State University student account; it is only for the admissions portal.

Start a Non-Degree Application
* Students who plan to matriculate into a graduate program at Bridgewater will only be allowed to count six credits taken as a non-degree student (for graduate programs less than 40 credits) or nine credits (for graduate programs more than 40 credits) towards that program. Courses taken as a non-degree student are not eligible for financial aid.
Search Courses
After completing your application, you will receive an email within 1-2 business days. This email will contain your Banner ID and instructions on how to register for courses. Please contact the graduate admissions office at GradAdmissions@bridgew.edu or (508) 531-1300 if you have any additional questions.
