Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.)

Students who enter the program at the same time progress through the program as a cohort and take all of their classes together, thus facilitating cooperation, collaboration, and the development of personal bonds. The program is accredited by the American Psychological Association.

MASTERS

Clinical and Counseling Psychology

The program is a convenient, fully online, 30-credit program with highly competitive tuition.  The online design allows professionals to complete their master’s degree in 20 months. The courses are taught in eight-week modules, allowing students to complete six credits per semester over five semesters. Courses are designed and taught by subject matter experts who have diverse experience in the field of cybersecurity. 

Digital Communication (NEW! ONLINE)

The Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Digital Communication prepares professionals for leadership in digital communication by advancing their skills in creating, managing, and evaluating corporate and community media messages. While still grounded in familiar communication theories and practices, this new program has been designed and built with a singular focus on NEW digital and social media. This degree is offered fully online and in an accelerated eight-week format with two, eight-week sessions each fall, spring, and summer semester. Students can complete the degree in six semesters or 24 months.

The program is designed for individuals seeking leadership roles as administrators/directors/supervisors in a broad range of human service organizations. The degree differs from a counseling degree in that students are prepared for management in agencies rather than for the delivery of therapeutic services to clients.

Organizational Leadership

The program prepares graduates to succeed in leading people and organizations in the Philadelphia region’s largest industries and employers including healthcare, biomedical and pharmaceutical companies, higher education, government, banking, and financial services, technology and research, communication and entertainment, corporate, general business, and retail organizations. The MS in Organizational Leadership focuses on the critical soft skills of managing people and change in organizations while providing solid foundations in managing data, technology, budgets, and resources for organizational success.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION

Consideration for the Tichenor-Greer scholarship will be given to all high school students who apply and meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Qualifying for financial aid in accordance with the Federal Department of Education FAFSA regulations
  • Major in either one of the science, technology or math majors available at Chestnut Hill College:

In order to retain the scholarship each year throughout college, students must:

  • Maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5
  • Qualify for financial aid in accordance with the Federal Department of Education FAFSA regulations
  • Remain in good standing in one of the science, technology or math majors available at Chestnut Hill College (listed above)
  • Be engaged in community service activities
  • Attend weekly (first-year students) or scheduled (sophomore – senior students) academic counseling and advising sessions
  • Attend any required tutoring sessions
  • Attend planned support and social activities

The scholarship will be awarded for one academic year with preference for renewing the award to the same recipient in each subsequent year, for four years, providing the recipient continues to meet the conditions of eligibility.  Scholarships, once designated, cannot be reassigned.
