Radiographic Science (AS)

Located on our main campus in Lewiston, Idaho, this JRCERT accredited degree is a two-year program with a competitive application process.

Graduates are eligible to sit for the ARRT® Exam to become Registered Radiologic Technologists.

Application Requirements

• Apply and be admitted to Lewis-Clark State College. Apply Now!
• A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in all college coursework.
• A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in the courses below. Calculate your GPA
  • Anatomy & Physiology + lab (full series, 8 semester credits)
  • Chemistry + lab (General, Organic & Biochemistry preferred)
  • College Math (equivalent of Math 123 or higher)
• Complete the HESI Health Professions Admission Assessment (A²)

Prerequisite Coursework

Must be passed with a C (2.0) or better. Transfer courses must meet LCSC equivalency to be eligible. For transfer equivalencies, please visit TES:College Source.

Prerequisite Courses:

• College Math (equivalent of Math 123 or higher)
• Chemistry
• Anatomy & Physiology I (or 1 semester of Anatomy)
• Anatomy & Physiology II (or 1 semester of Physiology)
• English 101 and 102

Application

• Please include a cover letter– Explain why you are interested in Radiographic Science. Provide information regarding prior healthcare-related experience if applicable.
• Transfer students must submit with their application unofficial transcripts from every college attended.

If you do not have an advisor listed in your Warrior Web account and have not been working with an advisor, email your application to Tiffany Pilon:  tbpilon@lcsc.edu

• There is a $35 application fee due at the time of submission. Payment for application is handled by the Controller’s Office. This can be done by paying with a debit/credit card over the phone (208) 792-2351.

Applications will be reviewed at the end of the semester and you will be notified of your admission via LCMail. To ensure timely notification, keep the NHS office informed of any change in name and/or email address.

• Incomplete applications will not be considered. Check your LCMail account frequently during the admission process as important messages are communicated to you through this means.

Provisionally admitted students must meet minimum admission standards at the semester’s end. Failure to meet admission criteria will result in forfeiture of provisional admission status.
