Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training

The NCAC Training Center continues to follow the latest CDC recommendations for in-person gatherings and travel. Training will remain in a virtual environment for the February, May, and October 2022 training.

NCAC’s Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Training trains professionals on the evidence-based psychotherapy approach designed to treat traumatic stress in children and adolescents. Participants learn how to administer a trauma-specific assessment, how to implement TF-CBT to special populations, and how to engage centers. Participants also learn how to engage the non-offending caregiver in the healing process.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Training is designed for clinicians who currently provide therapy services to children aged 3-18 at a CAC. This training is designed to prepare attendees to become nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This training is presented in English. If you need interpretation or any other accommodation to participate in this training please contact Laura Buff.
