The College of Engineering, Design and Computing offers undergraduate programs in bioengineering, civil engineering, computer science, construction engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.

Admissions criteria
Students with fewer than 24 completed college credits at the time of application are evaluated as first-time freshmen.
Direct admission to a bachelor of science* major
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative high school GPA
- Minimum 24 ACT composite or 1180 SAT composite
- Minimum 25 ACT Math or 590 SAT Math
*See below for bachelor of science in construction management criteria.
Direct admission to the bachelor of arts in computer science major and the bachelor of science in construction management major
- Minimum 2.6 cumulative high school GPA and one of the following two requirements:
- Minimum 22 ACT composite or 1110 SAT composite
- Minimum 22 ACT math or 540 SAT math
Admission to pre-engineering
Students who do not meet the criteria for direct admission to a major will be considered for admission to pre-engineering with a major interest.
- Minimum 2.6 cumulative high school GPA and one of the following two requirements:
- Minimum 22 ACT composite or 1110 SAT composite
- Minimum 22 ACT math or 540 SAT math
Admission to CLAS-Undeclared
Students who do not meet the criteria for direct admission to a major or pre-engineering, but otherwise meet the university’s admission criteria, will be admitted to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences as an undeclared major.
For international students, the ACT/SAT requirement is waived; instead, international students must meet the minimum cumulative high school GPA requirement and have completed three (3) years of high school math with a minimum 2.7 GPA in math courses.
