Durham University comprises of 4 faculties: Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Social Science & Health. There are 26 school in total through which the institute offers over 200 undergraduate courses and 100 postgraduate courses, and many research degrees.
As of 2018/19, the institute had a student population of more than 18,000 students. Furthermore, around 30% of the students were international learners coming from 130 countries to study in the UK. The institute is run by 4,300 hardworking staff members. The average student to faculty ratio is 6:1.
Durham University saw a comprised total of about 19,000 and more applicants of which upon division it was found that they accepted about 69.4% BAME applications, which were 3,400 in total and rest of 16,270 had an acceptance rate of 71.9%. This shows us that getting into Durham can be a bit competitive and the students would be required to prove their merit.

Once Durham receives all the supporting documents, they email you to let you know the decision if they are making you an offer of a place on the program.
