University of Lincoln offers admissions to undergraduate, masters, short courses, distance learning, and online master’s programs. It accepts applications for admission during Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions. International students starting their courses online at this institute to study at one of the top universities in UK will be eligible for the Graduate Immigration Route which will be introduced in 2021, as long as they enter the UK before 6 April 2021 to transition to on-campus study.

  • Candidates are required to submit their applications with required documents and English Proficiency scores before the deadline.
  • Full-time applicants apply through UCAS and Part-time applicants apply through the official website of the university.
  • The applications for undergraduate courses should reach the university between 1 September 1and January 15. However, late applications may be considered.

Graduate Course- Candidates should have a GPA of 2.5 – 3.0 (out of 4). However, the requirement varies as per different courses.

Steps for applying Visa

Step 1: Accept Offer and Pay CAS deposit- Once the candidate’s application is accepted, he/she is required to complete the Confirmation of Acceptance of Study (CAS) request form. This form can be the University’s online application system, OneUni. Candidates are also required to pay their CAS deposits.

Step 2: Prepare Financial Evidence- Candidates will have to show the proof for their financial support that verifies that they have sufficient funds to cover the cost of their course.

Step 3: Prepare Supporting Documents- Candidates will also be required to produce the English language proficiency proof and Receipts for any money you have paid to the University for tuition fees.

Once the candidates submit their application, it will be considered by the University of Lincoln. After that depending on the course applied by the candidates, they will be called for an interview. If after this, the candidate is accepted, he/she will receive an offer letter from the university stating the conditions to be met by the candidates before starting the course. If the letter shows “Conditional” acceptance then the candidates are required to meet the condition to confirm their seat while if the letter shows “Unconditional” acceptance then the seat of the candidate is confirmed.

The University accepts applications through its official website and through UCAS as well. It takes more than 10 days to process the application. International applicants must apply at least two months prior to the commencement of the session. This will help them in applying for the visa process on time.

Freshmen Merit Scholarships

Freshmen Merit Scholarships are awarded exclusively to new incoming first-time freshmen on a competitive basis. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, considering outstanding academic achievement and standardized test scores (ACT or SAT) as well as co-curricular involvement demonstrated in the scholarship application. Students that qualify MUST submit an application for consideration.

Liberated Lion Leadership Award

Need-Based Scholarship

Need-Based Scholarships are awarded to freshmen and transfer students based on a combination of demonstration of financial need, and in some cases, non-academic requirements. Lion Transfer Scholarship

The Lion Transfer Scholarship is awarded to students transferring to Lincoln University from another college on a competitive basis. Academically qualified students transferring from a community college, students that have earned an Associate’s degree, or students seeking a new institutional home should apply for our Lion transfer scholarship to assist with the financial cost of the transition. Students that qualify MUST submit an application for consideration.

  • Most scholarships are based on the applicant’s academic or extracurricular record, while some are based on other criteria. Satisfying the initial criteria listed does not guarantee that a student will receive an award.

  • Lincoln-funded scholarships are never “refundable”, and unused funds cannot be carried over to subsequent semesters.
