There are two degree programs in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Area:

  • Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Applied Psychology
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology

Course and program requirements for the MASc in Industrial-Organizational (I-O)

Students are required to complete a minimum of 6 one-term (0.5 unit) courses, the Master’s Research Paper (which counts as 1.0 unit), and a four-month Masters of Applied Science (MASc) internship.  All core courses are to be taken for a numerical grade, unless they are only offered as Credit/Non-credit (CR/NCR). [Note: These are minimum requirements. Students may be required to take more courses in order to meet the prerequisites for some courses. Completion of the degree is expected to take approximately six terms.]

  • PSYCH 875, Organizational Psychology

Two Research Methods/Statistics courses:
