Based in Abingdon, just outside Oxford, and in Central Manchester, the McTimoney College of Chiropractic offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs delivered from its custom-designed premises.
The McTimoney College of Chiropractic is the only institution offering chiropractic programs particularly focused on those who wish to continue working while studying. With the expansion of the College in recent years through growing demand, McTimoney chiropractors now represent over one-quarter of the UK chiropractic profession. - Clinical diagnostic equipment will need to be purchased prior to entering the Clinic year (this equipment is also available to rent from the College).

Tuition Fees & Maintenance Loans
Students intending to study at the college are eligible to apply for a Tuition Fee Loan and Maintenance Loan, dependent on their personal circumstances. These help cover tuition fees and living costs while you are studying.

- Have completed a minimum of 12 years schooling with evidence of an ability to successfully complete the programme
- Applicants must provide evidence of basic competency in written and oral communication in English and numeracy skills

If you want to be a chiropractor, this chiropractic course, based at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, provides the appropriate clinical education and training to meet registration requirements in the UK.
As part of your chiropractic training, you will study the human body in health and disease, be able to identify abnormalities of human structure and function, and manage patients through manual methods. These include manipulation, soft tissue techniques and active rehabilitation.
Clinical experience is a major part of the chiropractic programme. Elements of clinical work are introduced from the start and are carefully integrated to reinforce your academic study. Your final year is a clinical placement, during which you will treat and manage patients with musculoskeletal disorders to develop your clinical skills, confidence and employability.
This is a fully integrated undergraduate Masters degree programme that is accredited by both the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and the European Council on Chiropractic Education (ECCE). This ensures that graduates meet national and international chiropractic accreditation standards and can register with the GCC to practise in the UK.

Teaching
Typically, students on our chiropractic degree will spend time each week in lectures, practicals, tutorials, laboratory or clinical work, depending on the topic.
Our Chiropractic degree is fully integrated into the University infrastructure, offering students a wide educational experience, including a local hospital placement programme.
Assessment
