Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have a  bachelor’s degree in a related field or its equivalent to get admission in this program.
  • Students required a minimum GPA of 3.6.

VISA & Work Study

VISA

International students can apply for a visa in the F-1 or J-1 category. All full-time, admitted students are eligible for the F-1 visa, as long as they are proficient in English and can show proof of funding for at least the first year of study. Most Northeastern University international students have this visa status.

Work Study

Students may work up to 20 hours per week while school is in session and up to 40 hours per week during periods when school is not in session or during approved summer vacation. Graduating students are allowed to work until the official last day of university finals. The dates of the finals period are posted in the Academic Calendar.
