University of Texas at Austin, or UT Austin, is not only the top school in Texas, it is also the top school in the nation. The university ranked first in US News’s rankings of undergraduate accounting programs. Also, UT Austin placed first in PAR’s rankings.

School Overview

UT Austin holds the top spot in the rankings of TaxTalent and BYU. The school is also accredited in business and accounting by AACSB and it finished first in Bloomberg’s rankings.

For undergraduates interested in the accounting field, UT Austin offers a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting. To graduate, students must complete 21 credit hours of accounting courses.
