Undergraduates under the age of 25 are required to live on the schoolโs campus, unless they petition for commuter status. For those who do commute from in and around Tulsa, the university offers an online community for commuters to virtually connect with one another, find out about campus events, and get weekly updates on school news. Student athletes compete as the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles, members of the NCAA Division I Summit League.
To encourage ethnic diversity, Oral Roberts teams up with the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and operates a year-round Hispanic Center on campus, which helps students overcome language barriers and transition into college life.
