TUITION FEES

Print this articleShare this article

The administrative registration must be done before the beginning of each academic year and must be validated before the beginning of the courses: tuition fees paid and student card issued. Only the administrative registration gives the status of student, and allows you to take the exams and obtain the diploma.

Payment of the Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC)

Before applying, you must pay the CVEC, the Student and Campus Life Contribution (Contribution vie étudiante et de campus) to the CROUS student welfare office by logging on to https://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr/ (in French). The CVEC was introduced to provide social, health, cultural and sporting support for students. The amount of the CVEC is €92 (academic year 2020-2021).

Once you have paid the CVEC, you will receive an email with your CVEC certificate. This certificate includes your certificate number, which you will need when you apply. Scholarship holders based on social criteria, refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection and asylum seekers are exempt from paying the CVEC but they must log on to the www.messervices.etudiant.gouv.fr/envole/ website to obtain their CVEC certificate number.

Do you have to pay the CVEC contribution ?

Tuition fees for degree programs (2020-2021 academic year)

Policy set forth by Université Paris-Saclay regarding the “differentiated tuition fees” for non-EU students

In keeping with the resolution voted by its executive board, dated December 15, 2020, Université Paris-Saclay is intent on developing a proactive policy to attract national, EU and non-EU students.

As such, for the 2021-2022 academic year, successful candidates affected by the decree and order relating to tuition fees in higher education institutions falling within the juridiction of the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, will need to pay the same tuition fees as that of national students without having to make any explicit appeal to this end.

Partial exemption will be enforced throughout the duration of their studies at Université Paris-Saclay, except in the case of repetition, where a commission will adjudicate on maintaining such exemption.
