What are the eligibility requirements?

Politecnico di Milano enrols students on the grounds of their proven potential to excel and defines standard rate eligibility criteria for each course of study. The accepted qualifications for Indian students are specified below:

For Undergraduate Courses

  • Secondary school qualification conferred after a minimum of 12 years of schooling
  • GPA of 6.5 or higher
  • Successfully pass the admission test for a bachelorโ€™s degree

For admission to Bachelor of Science (Engineering) courses, the university conducts a test for engineering (TOL) in the Italian language. Consider these English language test alternatives:

  • SAT certification in subjects of English and maths or ACT score of 20
  • SAT subject test in physics and mathematics with a score of at least 500 in each subject test
  • GRE certification with a score of at least 153 in the verbal section and 144 in the quantitative section
  • GMAT certification with a score of at least 500 in the two sections-verbal and quantitative

Note: For admission to Bachelor of Architecture courses, the university conducts a test of Architecture.

For Postgraduate Courses

For a masterโ€™s programme, the applicant must have:

  • Bachelor degree or should be pursuing a bachelor degree
