There are total of 11,516 undergraduate students, 3,921 graduate students, 439 full-time professors, and 739 part-time professors in Sogang. These students and professors are located in 27 departments in 9 schools for undergraduate students and 1 graduate school, 6 professional graduate schools, and 5 special graduate schools.

Although there are many diverse campuses, Sogang University is probably most diverse campuses in Korea. There are international students from over 80 countries around the world studying at this university. Also, there are many activities for international students. While international students study, they can enjoy the city life in Seoul, going to different K-Pop concerts, eating delicious foods, and enjoying the amazing nightlife. International students are very satisfied in Sogang University.

There are many English classes available for international students at Sogang University. All the courses in International Korean Studies and the Graduate School of International Studies are taught in English. Also, many courses in other departments are taught in English as well. This will help international students who are not familiar with the Korean language. They will be less pressured to learn Korean in order to follow classes, but they could learn slowly by interacting with their professors and students.

Even though its history is relatively short compared to other universities, Sogang University has produced many excellent alumni. It has produced a Korean President, many CEO’s including Hyundai’s and other fabulous companies. The alumni success is very important for students because of the ties after they graduate. In Korea, many employers will favor those who have graduated from their own universities, so students from Sogang University will have an easier time to get a job.
