All students

128 UCAS points, including at least 40 points from either Biology, Human Biology or Physical Education or BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science, or an alternative qualification such as an Access course.

If English is not your first language you need an IELTS score of 6.5 or above, with a minimum score of 5.5 in each skill.

Offers are subject to enhanced DBS check, Occupational Health assessment and required immunisations prior to enrolment. 

Please note the University will only admit students who are aged 18 or over at the point of enrolment.

Fees and funding for EU, other EEA and Swiss nationals 

From the academic year 2021/22 EU, EEA and Swiss nationals are no longer eligible for home fee status and will be charged the international fee.

EU, EEA and Swiss nationals living in the UK with ‘settled’ or ‘pre-settled’ status will be classified as ‘Home’ students and pay the home fee providing they meet certain residency requirements. See the Gov.uk website for further details.

Irish nationals will be classified as ‘Home’ students and pay the home fee.

We are offering a Vice Chancellor’s Award (a £3,000 automatic tuition fee bursary) to applicants domiciled in the EU, or other EEA countries or Switzerland for full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate courses starting in September 2022 and January 2023. Terms and conditions apply.

You may be able to pay for a postgraduate loan from Student Finance England.
