How to prepare for these exams?
Following are some tips to help students prepare for their entrance exams and also perform well in them:
- These entrance exams mostly check students’ knowledge, and the concepts they have retained from grade 5 to 12, so to perform well, they will have to revise the basic concepts.
- Students should try attempting as many past question papers as they can, because they will benefit the most out of practicing.
- Learning how to manage time is one of the most important things that students should focus on because they will have to answer 100 or more questions in a span of two hours.
- It is absolutely necessary to enhance general knowledge skills as it is an important part of most of these entrance exams.
- Students should not refer to more than one book as reference because if they take help from multiple books and need to find just one concept – it wastes time.
How to get admission in top ACCA colleges?
The following points should be kept in mind if students are seeking admission in top colleges affiliated with ACCA:
- Stay updated with the college’s recent press releases, notices and eligibility criteria, cut-off, application deadlines, processes, etc.
- Since admission to ACCA is guaranteed if you meet the eligibility criteria, like 65% in Accounts or Maths and English, and 50% in all other subjects; it is absolutely necessary to score well in 12th grade exams.
- Students should start preparing for entrance exams as soon as possible so that they have more than enough time to polish their basic concepts and general knowledge.
- Make sure that applications are submitted on time or even early as it will give students plenty of time to get rid of the tension that comes with applying to university, and focus on entrance exam preparation.
