Thinking about doing an MBA in Canada? Many international students find that Canada — with its strong and varied industries across the country — is a great place to do their MBA. It doesn’t hurt that Canada’s post-MBA visa policies are among the most liberal in the world. This means that many students who do their MBA in Canada can and do stay to work in country for at least a couple of years after graduating. Popular destinations for international MBA students range from Toronto, the country’s financial center, to the west coast, where the oil and gas industry is prominent. Some students might also consider doing their MBA in Québec, the country’s French-speaking province.
That’s not to say that the best MBA programs in Canada can’t be found all across the country. The programs below can be found in several different provinces.
In terms of reputation, these degrees are up there with the best: Canadian MBA programs are increasingly showing up on international rankings. Many of the top business schools in the country now publish post-MBA career statistics, so that potential applicants can get a sense of the average salaries and other indicators.
Although, at least compared to the country’s neighbor to the south, there aren’t that many business schools in Canada offering MBA programs, there are indeed a handful of world-class offerings. Among the several dozen or so business schools in the country, fewer than 30 are accredited by AACSB, AMBA, or EQUIS; the following is a list of the best MBA programs in Canada.McGill University – Desautels Faculty of ManagementMontréal, Canada

A business school is a university-level institution that awards degrees in business administration or management. According to Kaplan, business schools are “educational institutions specialized in courses and programs related to business and/or administration”.
Truly, Business schools enjoy extensive coverage in print and digital media, including popular business magazines and magazines, countless ratings, as well as blogs and books.
Although the coverage is largely positive, business schools are also subject to much criticism. But I find value in most writings about business schools, whether positive or negative. In all articles, I find pieces of truth and valuable information about unmet needs and pain points. In truth, I am grateful to those who take the time to think about business studies and make comments to the public. But there is a problematic side to all the coverage of business schools. Much of this tends to perpetuate common misconceptions and can be misleading for policymakers. Especially for those who are not yet familiar with the sector (eg potential students). However, positive or negative information, poorly designed or presented in business schools can be harmful.
Here are basically three simple observations. Based on my experience of working closely with hundreds of business schools around the world for almost two decades. For this purpose offering an alternative perspective on the most common representations of business schools.
As a student in a business school, you will equally learn to equate academic theories with real-world problems. Business schools encourage students to become smart, professional decision-makers who can easily handle uncertainty, risk, and change.
What to Expect in Business School
The b-school program is difficult and the students have to work hard to follow. But the bottom line is that the goal of every business student usually is to get a stimulating and well-paid job after graduation. So, for most people, getting perfect grades is not as important as connecting with peers, teachers, and executives that will be useful later on.
