UBC Sauder MM program a leader in North America

According to the QS Business Masters Rankings, the UBC Sauder MM program ranks second in Canada and fifth in North America. The MM program has been in the top five in North America since its debut in 2019. The program ranks 43rd globally.

In particular, QS highlighted the MM programโ€™s thought leadership and alumni outcomes with scores well above the global average. Additionally, QS awarded the MM programโ€™s diversity with a maximum score of 100 per cent for โ€œFemale Students,โ€ recognizing the far greater percentage of the student body identifying as female at UBC Sauder compared to the global average.

The UBC Sauder MBAN program, in its third year as a part of the rankings, placed third in Canada and 29th globally, a global rise of four positions from last year.

QS noted the programโ€™s alumni outcomes as its strongest indicator of success, rating it over 20 points above the global average. QS also highlighted the programโ€™s class and faculty diversity, employability, and thought leadership, rating all of these factors above the global average.

The 12-month UBC MBAN is about much more than technical know-how. It captures the full analytics spectrum, including data management, data analytics, and decision analytics. Courses include marketing, customer relationship management, consulting and project management, strategic management and emotional intelligence. With a highly selective acceptance rate of 6%, the school demands an excellent academic profile, outstanding GPA in all core subjects and an active and positive extracurricular record. The University of British Columbia is a public institution located in the Canadian province of British Columbia. The university was established in 1908 and opened in 1915. It has two main campuses โ€“ the Vancouver campus and the Okanagan campus located in Kelowna. The Vancouver campus is the larger of the two, accommodating more than 85 percent of UBC students. In a recent year, 23 percent of students at the Vancouver campus and around 13 percent at the Okanagan campus were international. Tuition costs at UBC vary by degree program and are higher for international students. University housing is guaranteed for first-year UBC undergraduates, and newly admitted international students who are second-year undergrads receive housing priority too. Housing is also available for returning undergraduate and graduate students.

The Vancouver campus offers more than two dozen academic divisions, while the Okanagan campus has eight. The academic calendars for both campuses include two-term winter and summer sessions, although the summer session is optional. The primary language of instruction at UBC is English.
