Getting into UCLA for art is easy.
Admission to UCLA Arts is a direct-entry process: you can apply to your major of choice and begin coursework right away. Applying happens in two steps: students must complete the general University of California application, and also submit a supplemental application directly to their desired UCLA Arts major.
You can apply for admission to UCLA Arts by submitting your application online or through the mail. The deadline for applying for admission varies by major. For example, if you are interested in applying for Art History as a freshman, you would need to send in your application by January 1st. If you would like to apply as a transfer student, however, the deadline would be March 1st. The deadline for international students is March 15th; however there are some exceptions to this rule depending on the country they are from (e.g., China).
