University of Illinois International Student Admissions

University of Illinois accepts international applicants provided they meet the minimum eligibility criteria and submit the required documents. Applications must be submitted before the deadlines to be considered for admissions.

Visa Process for International Students

International applicants need to apply for an F1 or J1 student visa to study in the USA. Accepted students will be issued an I -20 form by the University of Illinois. Applicants are then required to pay the SEVIS Fee and apply for a student visa at the US embassy at their place of permanent residence.
