Visa Process for International Students

Students who have applied through UCAS must accept their offer through UCAS Track and if applied directly to the University, they can accept through the Applicant Portal.

In order to study in the UK on a course longer than 1 year, students will need a Tier 4 visa. In order to apply, students must have an unconditional offer of a place on a course with a licensed Tier 4 sponsor (i.e. the University of Bradford) enough money to support yourself and pay for your course – the amount will vary depending on the circumstances.

Students will be asked to provide the University with copies of their current passport and qualifications, make a deposit of 2,000 GBP and then the University will be able to send the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) Statement. Students will need the CAS statement in order to apply for their student visa to come to the UK.
