University of Calgary International Student Admission
International applicants who desire to complete their higher education in Canada at the University of Calgary will have to satisfy certain additional requirements like language, documents to gain admission at the university.
Admission Requirements
- Certified copy of the current Passport
- Official transcripts and certificates with evaluation reports(translated in English).
- Portfolio/Essay based on course entry requirements (if applicable)
- Financial/sponsorship documents
- English Language Test Score (IELTS,TOEFL, etc.)
- Health Certificate
English Language Requirements
All international applicants applying to study in Canada have to provide proof of English language proficiency to be eligible for admission at the University of Calgary.

Some of the graduate programs might require a higher score in the English Proficiency tests. Applicants are advised to check the official course page.
Visa Requirements for International Students
International students who have been accepted by the University of Calgary and need to stay in Canada for more than 6 months are required to obtain a study permit to study in Canada and a temporary resident visa.
