Welcome! We are delighted that you are interested in studying in the Dayton School of Business (DSB). Most business schools desire to be the best in the world. Our goal is to be the best for the world. A simple change of the word “in” to “for” expresses our radical view to apply effective business management principles from a Christian world view standpoint. The program makes the biblical principle of stewardship and Christian standards of ethics an integral part of the acquisition of technical knowledge and of the pursuit of excellence in professional skills.

Why Asbury University’s Dayton School of Business?
Our mission is to provide a rigorous, student-centric education that emphasizes collaboration, critical and innovative thinking while cultivating integrity and character. The distinctively faith-focused business program expands on essential business principles by equipping committed leaders. We expect our students to graduate with a deep faith and excellent work skills that are integrated and holistic. Our curriculum is based on the over 3,000 verses in scripture that inform us about God’s view of wealth and how to handle our business and finances. To that end, our courses are focused on a “triple bottom line” – profit, people, and purpose. Business has both the power to corrupt the rich or to bless the poor. It takes men and women of integrity who are completely surrendered to God’s purpose to bring out the best for the world.
The Dayton School of Business (DSB) offers residential undergraduate students majors in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, and Sport Management, as well as minors in Accounting, Business, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Sport Management. The DSB offers an online MBA with traditional, nonprofit and accounting tracks, as well as, and undergraduate, non-traditional, online learning program in Business Management.
The 100% online Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with traditional, accounting and nonprofit management tracks equips students to faithfully navigate today’s complex global marketplace. The DSB offers the MBA Asbury +1 Program, a unique value proposition where traditional undergraduate students have the opportunity to take MBA courses during the senior year of their AU undergraduate program. Following graduation they can complete their MBA in one additional year. Essentially, Asbury +1 students can complete up to 25% of their Masters at no additional cost.
RachelI have learned not just to view business as a potential career path, but also an opportunity for ministry. We learn how to use business to impact the world and people for Christ.
