Levene MBA Tuition Information
- Effective Fall 2021, students are assessed a fee of $926.00 per credit hour
- $2,778.00 per 3 credit hour course
- Ten 3 credit hour courses plus six 1.5 credit hours courses*
- Totaling $36,114 (CAD) subject to potential annual tuition increase
- Full-time mandatory student fees are assessed for each semester registered
* Students who have an undergraduate degree in Business Administration are not required to complete the six 1.5 credit hour courses and therefore will not be charged for those courses.
Note: Some courses require a fee for cases used for instruction. These fees are applied to your University of Regina student account and are in addition to the cost of your tuition.
Costs for books, meals, parking, accommodations, (etc.) incurred while studying at the University of Regina are not included above. Students should budget accordingly.
- All Students must pay Student Union and Recreation and Athletic Fees for each semester they are registered:
- University of Regina Student’s Union (URSU) fees are assessed at $39.20 per student plus $4.95 credit hour plus a mandatory bus pass $87.60. ALL students at the University of Regina are required to pay
- Recreation and Athletic Fees are assessed at $98.00 for each semester of registration
- Student Health and Dental Plan – Full time on-campus Graduate Students in the fall semester will be automatically assessed $218.50 for Health and Dental coverage
- Students are advised to check the URSU website on procedures to opt out of the Health and Dental program

Academic Program
The minimum age toย applyย to the ESL Programย is 16; however, if you are under the age of 16, youย may be considered for admission,ย but require special permission fromย the ESL Director.ย We will issue you a Letter of Acceptance once your application has been approved,ย you have paid the required fees and provided us with a copy of your passport.
Please be advised that the age of majority in Saskatchewan is 18, which means if you are under the age ofย 18 you are still considered a minor. If you apply to the Academic ESL Program and areย a minor,ย you are required to submit additional documents to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). The documents are for the purposes of proving custodianship in Canada forย minorsย who plan to study in Canada without aย parent or legal guardian. Neither the ESL Program nor any of our staff or faculty members will assume custodianship over you.ย
Also, although the ESL Program is completely separate from CIC, ifย are under the age of 18 pleaseย contact theย ESL Program Officeย so that we may assist you.
Direct Entry into Advanced EAP
To be eligible to enter Advanced EAP directly, you have to do at least one of the following:
- Submit proof of an overall IELTS (Academic) Band score of 6.0 with no IELTS Band score less than 5.0,
- Submit proof of a TOEFL Paper score of 525 or a TOEFL iBT score of 70 with no skill below 17, or
- Submit proof of a Duolingo score of 95 โ 105, or
- Submit proof of a CAEL score of 50.
These scores must also be submitted no later than the 100% Refund (minus tuition deposit) deadline. If documents are submitted prior to the start of the semester, there is no requirement to write the in-house placement test.
Test results may not be more than 2 years old at the time of application to the ESL Program if they are to be considered for placement.
Direct Entry into 040 High Intermediate
If you have already taken an Academic IELTS test and achieved a minimum overall academic score of 5.5 (with no band lower than 5.0), you can enter directly into 040 High Intermediate.
Or Submit proof of a Duolingo score of 85-90
These scores must also be submitted no later than the 100% Refund (minus tuition deposit) deadline. If documents are submitted prior to the start of the semester, there is no requirement to write the in-house placement test.

Placement Exam
Upon acceptance to the ESL program, incoming students will take a placement exam. Students will be tested on their speaking, reading, writing, and hearing comprehension of the English language. The purpose of the exam is to determine what Core Class level is best suited for each student’s skill set. This exam takes place during the first week of each semester.
