That’s according to the prestigious 2020 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), which has ranked the University of Toronto 9th in the world for computer science & engineering. U of T’s worldwide ranking in computer science & engineering has moved up three positions from 12th in 2019, and its ranking of first in Canada remains unchanged.

As a whole, the University of Toronto ranked 23rd in the world this year, up one position from 24th in 2019.
