The qualification builds on the knowledge gained in the Diploma in Treasury Management and the syllabus covers the commercial and financial challenges facing a business at a strategic level. The Advanced Diploma in Treasury Management is made up of two units, a compulsory 2-day residential school, masterclasses, one exam, a dissertation and a presentation of the dissertation. Both units 1 and 2 are studied online with tutor support via the discussion forum as well as progress tests and forum activities to keep your learning on track. You will also attend masterclasses and a compulsory 2-day residential school.2.1 LEARNING FOR UNITS 1 AND 2
Both units of the Advanced Diploma in Treasury Management are delivered online through the ACT Learning Academy study site.

There will be three afternoon masterclasses, followed by networking evenings.
These interactive sessions are the perfect opportunity to hear real-life case studies from practitioners at FCT level. The afternoon discussions will be followed by networking evenings and the opportunity get to know your fellow students better. Previous students have found that the contacts you make and relationships you build are invaluable for future career support and success!
Refreshments will be provided.2.3 RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL
You will join us for a residential school, run over the course of two days.
Come together in provides a tranquil setting to develop your leadership and influencing skills, which will support the delivery of the presentation element of your dissertation.
Senior practitioners will join you over the course of the weekend to share their experience of challenging situations they have faced in practice and their valuable advice on business leadership.

The Advanced Diploma in Treasury Management is assessed by one exam, one dissertation and a presentation to a panel on your dissertation.3.1 EXAM
You can take your assessments from anywhere in the world, wherever you have a reliable internet connection.
The exam is in September of each year.

3.2 DISSERTATION
The dissertation is chosen by you and provides an opportunity to explore a topic area that is important and/or interesting to you, and to your organisation โ but it must be in the field of treasury, risk, corporate finance and/or funding and relate to the content of the Advanced Diploma in Treasury Management. You will be given two dissertation windows to choose from.3.3 PRESENTATION
Once you have passed your dissertation, you will be invited to present to a panel and specified date and time. The dissertation will be presented to a panel made up of 1-2 practicing treasurers, the ACT Chief Executive and Director of Awarding Body, and the ACT Chief Assessor. The presentation will utilise key skills you will have learnt in the Residential school and will prepare you for presenting to a board in the real-world.
