B.Arch Eligibility

Do I qualify B.Arch Eligibility criteria?

The duration of the course is 5 years and to get admission into the Bachelor of Architecture, students must fulfill the following conditions:

  • Students should have completed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks along with the compulsory subjects (PCM).
  • The pass percentage for the reserved category is 45%( that is a 5% relaxation).
  • Students should have completed a Class 10+ 3 year diploma course in any stream from a recognized university/ board/ institution.
  • Cleared NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with the 80% marks conducted by Council of Architecture(CoA)

Some colleges take admission on the basis of other architectural entrance exams as well, so it is not compulsory to give NATA. But you must prepare and give this exam if you want to take admission in best B.Arch colleges in India.

AMUEEE 2020This exam is conducted by Aligarh Muslim University for engineering and the B.Arch course. The exam is taken through offline mode.October 09, 2020December 1, 2020

One can secure a place in an esteemed university/ college if they start preparing NATA or any other entrance exam in advance. There are mainly five basic sections in the exams:

  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Logical Reasoning
  • General Aptitude

Some exams might have a General Knowledge part as well, and some only contain questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. In all the B.Arch entrance exams, there will be questions from MathsChemistry, and Physics, hence your subject knowledge of Class XII science subjects should be strong.
