Each undergraduate program in this ranking is accredited by one of the six regional accrediting organizations recognized by the US Department of Education, specifically the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Additionally, each business school was ranked upon whether it has obtained an additional third-party business accreditation from one of the top business school accrediting institutions: IACBE, ACBSP, and AACSB. AACSB is widely regarded as the elite standard among business accreditations, thus the schools that hold this accreditation are given the highest scores.
Affordability: As college tuition costs keep escalating, affordability is a consistent concern among college students and parents. Each program within this ranking has been vetted on the estimated undergraduate tuition and fees reported by the National Center for Education Statistics for full-time undergraduate students. When a college offers an in-state and an out-of-state tuition rate, the in-state tuition is used in this ranking, in order to show students the lowest tuition available and the highest ROI. Average alumni salary: Going to college and obtaining a degree is not just for the college experience, but primarily for the long-term benefits. One major benefit of a college degree is the future financial benefits from a career the degree will make possible. The highest early-career salary reported that was used in this ranking is $64,400, with the average resting at $49,292.
