Tuition

  • Full-time Rate (12-18 units): $30,145
  • Part-time Rate (1- 11.5 units): $1,875 per unit
  • Overload Charge (over 18 units):  $1,875 per unit
  • Interterm Tuition**$1,875 per unit

**If an Undergraduate Student is enrolled full-time in both the Fall & Spring semesters of the same academic year, the student may qualify for an Interterm Tuition Waiver (up to 4 units). The waiver cannot be applied, until the student is enrolled in a minimum of 12 units for the Spring semester of the same academic year. Graduating Seniors, who will not be enrolled full-time during the Spring semester of their graduating year, can contact their Student Account Advisor to determine if they qualify for a Graduating Senior Interterm Tuition Waiver exception.


Additional Fees

Parking is free to students. However, a valid virtual permit is still mandatory. The virtual permit is obtained by registering your vehicle.

Student Health Insurance

Proof of health insurance is required of all students. Students can submit proof via their Student Center eForms. Otherwise, the student will be enrolled in the plan selected by the university and charged the cost of coverage.

Student health insurance can be purchased each academic year via the Student Center eForms.

International students are automatically billed for student health insurance upon enrollment. Students who have an individual or family plan can waive the health insurance charge by completing the Proof of Insurance eForm in their Student Center. The deadline to waive is the 3rd week of classes.

The latest U.S. News & World Report rankings have once again recognized Chapman University as one of America’s leading institutions of higher learning, ranking it among the nation’s top-tier universities in its annual “Best Colleges” report.

Chapman is ranked 106th among national universities, up from a previous ranking of 112 last year, according to the magazine’s online edition May 21.

In addition to being included in the first tier of schools across all categories, Chapman is also included in the second tier for top undergraduate teaching programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The university has earned this distinction for two consecutive years now and has been recognized as a leader in undergraduate education since 2016.

This recognition comes after an extensive review process that includes an assessment of each institution’s strengths in key areas such as admissions selectivity, financial resources, graduation rate performance and alumni giving rate performance among others.”
